Prayer of Forgiveness

The most beautiful thing,
I have to say to you,
O Lord,
after I love you,
is ... "Forgive me",
I say " O Lord forgive me",
because in these few words
dissolves my heart,
"O Lord forgive me"
even though many times I do not know exactly
what to be forgiven for,
but if I repeat these words,
if I repeat these words slowly
and with all my heart
and close my eyes,
then I feel my heart blend with yours
and I know deep inside
that these few words are the Key to Your Heart,
the Key to get into the depths of your Heart
and of your Love.
"Forgive me, O Lord"
and I can feel my tears falling,
and just uttering these words,
I can feel Your embrace and Your Love.
"Forgive me, O Lord"
and I know that
I do not need to make
great speeches,
but nothing more
than these two words
repeated inside,
in my whole being...
"Forgive me, O Lord"
and I say it with all my love,
"Forgive me, O Lord",
it's so good to tell you this,
because when I say it
I feel that You receive me
and open Your arms.
"Forgive me, O Lord",
as many times as I say
I love you,
"Forgive me"
because by saying these few words
I feel in them all Your omnipotence,
all of Your sweetness
and all of your Grace.
"Forgive me, O Lord"
because I feel in these few words
all Your Divinity,
"Forgive me, O  Lord"
for I feel in these words that You Love me
that you died for me,
that you gave your life for me,
I feel that you have given me life,
and You have done great things for me,
and I can feel the Father's Love through you.
I know you will do wonders for me,
I know that you will open your hands and let out all of Your Graces for me,
"Forgive me, O Lord"
I say it, because I want to get to your Heart,
"Forgive me, O Lord"
I say it, because I want to win your Heart,
"Forgive me, O Lord"...

THE CONSECRATED OF THE LORD SHOULD BECOME HOLY HOSTS, SHOULD BECOME BREAD TO NOURISH THE NEEDING

… here is the Word of God to all men and women of goodwill...

here is the Teaching of God to Mankind, here is what God has done of Himself for each one of us, an eternal offer ...

... here is what we should be for God and for our neighbors ...

...an instrument of His Love, Peace and Brotherly Love.

If we are the temple of the Holy Spirit,
the home of God,
then we must shine,
God must be shown through us,
through our faces, eyes, actions.

Let God be free within us,
free to act within us,
let Him be free within,
let's not put limits in our heart,
let's not outline areas in our heart,
let Him be free to come into every pore of our skin, into each little and hidden meander of our heart,
let's not hold anything for our self,
because that coin that we jealously keep hidden
and secret will be multiplied by Him,
that little space in our heart that we believe is rightfully ours will become a vast territory
and will be just  for us,
that thing to which we do not want to give up
and to which we are bound by slavery,
will be undone,
and we will be set free,
our mind free,
our body, our soul and our spirit free.
So, let's deny ourselves,
let us give ourselves to Him fully.
Let's intensely wish to be one with Him and
we will also be one with our brothers and sisters,
we will become bread to nourish the needing,
we will become bread to nourish the world,
we will become bread of life, bread of love,
bread of charity, bread of solidarity,
bread of support, bread of justice,
we will become good bread for all,
nourishing bread,
fragrant bread
just like Him.
And as He nourishes us, we will nourish
as He takes care of us, we will take care
as He loves us, we will love,
as He comforts us, we will confort,
as He offered Himself,
we will offer ourselves to the Father.
Let's give our bodies and our souls to God alone,
so that He will make of us a masterpiece of Grace,
a masterpiece of Love,
because infinitely sweet is the Lord.

"When the layer of dew lifted, there on the surface of  the desert was something fine...

... and granular, as fine as hoarfrost on the ground. As soon as the Israelites saw this, they said to one another, "What is that?" not knowing what it was. "That", Moses told them, "is the food which God has given you to eat. These are God's orders: Each of you must collect as much as he needs to eat -- a homer per head for each person in his tent." The Israelities did this. They collected it, some more, some less. When they measured out what they had collected by the homer, no one who had collected more had too much, no one who had collected less had too little. Each had collected as much as he needed to eat. (Exodus 16.16-18)

"That, is the food which God has given you to eat..."

That is the bread that makes us one,
it is the bread that
makes us bread
one for the other.
"What is that?"
Let us ask in amazement
every time we eat this bread.
Every time we get close to Eucharist
every time we hold it in our hands,
we raise it high
we contemplate it
we adore it,
we look at it.
Every time we take it to the altar:
"What is that, my Lord?"
... and every time we will make this
question, we will hear,
deeply within us the answer
that Moses gave to the Israelites
"That, is the food which God has given you to eat"
That is the nourishment.
It is what your soul desires most,
what your soul longs for,
and nourishes your body as well,
Each of us can have as much as we want,
a homer for each,
No one will have too much
no one will have too less,
but everybody will be satisfied.
This is the mystery of God's Love.
This is what we will have in
the promised life, yes, but we
can have it right now.
Right in this life.
Right now we can have God within us
enough to be one with God.
So, each of us eat of that bread
because
"That, is the food which God has given us to eat"

…  if we will become bread, send O Lord from Heaven Food to spare …

Send us your Holy Spirit O Lord
send Him over all the Earth,
send us the most fragrant bread from Heaven,
so that it can be broken for the needing.
Send us, O Lord, a rainfall of bread as you have sent
long ago manna to the Israelites.
Form, O Lord, in your womb, good bread for us,
Shape, O Lord, in your womb, bread for all Mankind,
send us your Consecrated, O Lord
a rainfall of brothers and sisters to be broken as bread for the neighbors and become bread to all.
O Lord, we need that bread,
we need Shepherds,
shaped in your womb,
shaped in You,
for You and with You,
we need shepherds forged at Your school.
O Lord, in Your infinite Goodness,
do not leave us like sheep without a shepherd.
We need You to teach us to become bread for the others,
as You have done.

The Christians in the world

From a letter to Diognetus

"Christians are indistinguishable from other men either by nationality, language or customs. They do not inhabit separate cities of their own, or speak a strange dialect, or follow some outlandish way of life.

Their teaching is not based upon reveries inspired by the curiosity of men. Unlike some other people, they champion no purely human doctrine. With regard to dress, food and manner of life in general, they follow the customs of whatever city they happen to be living in, whether it is Greek or foreign.

And yet there is something extraordinary about their lives...

...They live in their own countries as though they were only passing through. They play their full role as citizens, but labor under all the disabilities of aliens. Any country can be their homeland, but for them their homeland, wherever it may be, is a foreign country. Like others, they marry and have children, but they do not expose them. They share their meals, but not their wives.
They live in the flesh, but they are not governed by the desires of the flesh. They pass their days upon earth, but they are citizens of heaven. Obedient to the laws, they yet live on a level that transcends the law. Christians love all men, but all men persecute them. Condemned because they are not understood, they are put to death, but raised to life again. They live in poverty, but enrich many; they are totally destitute, but possess an abundance of everything. They suffer dishonor, but that is their glory. They are defamed, but vindicated. A blessing is their answer to abuse, deference their response to insult. For the good they do they receive the punishment of malefactors, but even then they, rejoice, as though receiving the gift of life. They are attacked by the Jews as aliens, they are persecuted by the Greeks...

...yet no one can explain the reason for this hatred.

To speak in general terms, we may say that the Christian is to the world what the soul is to the body.

As the soul is present in every part of the body, while remaining distinct from it, so Christians are found in all the cities of the world, but cannot be identified with the world.

As the visible body contains the invisible soul, so Christians are seen living in the world, but their religious life remains unseen.

The body hates the soul and wars against it, not because of any injury the soul has done it, but because of the restriction the soul places on its pleasures. Similarly, the world hates the Christians, not because they have done it any wrong, but because they are opposed to its enjoyments.

Christians love those who hate them just as the soul loves the body and all its members despite the body's hatred. It is by the soul, enclosed within the body, that the body is held together, and similarly, it is by the Christians, detained in the world as in a prison, that the world is held together.

The soul, though immortal, has a mortal dwelling place; and Christians also live for a time amidst perishable things, while awaiting the freedom from change and decay that will be theirs in heaven.

As the soul benefits from the deprivation of food and drink, so Christians flourish under persecution. Such is the Christian’s lofty and divinely appointed function, from which he is not permitted to excuse himself.

Father of all holiness,
guide our hearts to you.

Keep in the light of your truth
all those you have freed from the darkness of unbelief.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,

one God, for ever and ever.

of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross

The Letter to Diognetus, written during the second century, is a brilliant defence of the
Christian faith. It is one of the most eloquent writings we have from the early period of the Christian
church.

"HAIL SWEET VIRGIN"

"Hail sweet Virgin,
Hail sweet Mother,
all the earth exults in thee
and the choirs of the Angels,
Holy temple of the Lord,
Glory of the Virgins,
thou art garden of Paradise,
the sweetest flower,
thou art the the highest throne,
thou art the purest altar,
all Creation exults in thee
oh full of Grace,
mystic Paradise,
sealed Fountain,
the Lord springs up in thee
the tree of Life,
oh simple Sovereign,
oh powerful and humble,
open to us the doors of Heaven,
bring to us the Light."

GOD THE FATHER IN HIS INFINITE GOODNESS WANTED TO GIVE US THE HEART OF HIS SON

The Sacred Heart of Jesus
 is the sign of
the goodness and Love
God the Father has
for us all.
Friday is the
day of the Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ
and is dedicated to Sacred Heart,  along with month of June.
The  heart of Jesus is everything to us, it has been given to us, it has been donated to the world, it has been given to us as a refuge. Many times, as mountain climbers caught in a storm, we seek a refuge, a safe place to find ourselves again and to regain our strength. We seek for something that would give us protection and relief. If we look at the Heart of Jesus we can find all this. We can find everything we are looking for and desire, all the love we need, all the spirit, all comfort, all the understanding, we can find ourselves in His Heart if we keep our gaze fixed on it.

WE MUST NOT BE INDIFFERENT TO THE GIFT OF GOD OUR FATHER

Let us think of the gifts that we usually do, birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, gift for Confirmation or First Communion. We have done many gifts in our life for all occasions. What kind of gifts we have bought and buy for our dear ones? Watches, T-shirts, gadgets, glasses, flowers, chocolates ... all very beautiful and colorful. Let's think how we made happy all those people who received our gifts. So, God gave us His Heart and gives it to us everyday, His Heart is at our complete disposal. Have we ever thought about this great gift before which we have no words to say thank you? Only a mother can really understand this gift of the "heart", because she gives her heart to her child when he is born. The heart of a mother belongs to her child and everything happens so naturally at his birth. So tight is the union between them, so intense and intimate. The Heart of God is ours. He has given His Heart to us at our birth, as He were our mother.

IT'S THROUGH THE HEART OF JESUS THAT...

It's through the heart of Jesus that we come to know the tenderness of the Father. It's through the Heart of Jesus that we come to know the Love the Father has for us, that we come to know His Glory and Grace. The heart of Jesus is the home of the Father in whom we must return. It's the home of Love, familiarity, intimacy, fullness of Grace to which we must return. The Heart of Jesus is the home of the maternity of the Father. God the Father makes Himself Mother and becomes womb, intimacy, contemplation. Yes, because the Father contemplates us as the most beautiful creatures of the entire universe, He looks at us through the Heart of Jesus, as a mother looks at her child sleeping. This is how God the Father looks at us when we surrender ourselves to Him and fall asleep on Jesus' Heart. He looks at us with the same loving glance of a mother, he nurses us to his bosom when we surrender to the Heart of Jesus. Yes, God our Father stays hours in contemplation of His children, through the Heart of Jesus, just as He has done with Mary, the most beautiful among all women.

OUR VIRGIN MOTHER MARY IT'S IN THE HEART OF GOD THE FATHER
The Grace of Mary passes through the Heart of the Father. Mary is the most beautiful, meek and pure of all His children, her Graces pass through the Heart of God. Mary is engraved in the Heart of God, she has a privileged place in His Heart. Mary's grace, humbleness and love have conquered the Heart of God and God sees in her the fullness of His creation. Just like Mary we can surrender to God's contemplation and to His will to give us all the gifts of His Heart. Even we can become God's beloved children by looking at Mary. By looking at Mary we can learn to surrender to God's Heart, to surrender to God's project and Will on us. By looking at Mary we can learn to surrender to His cares, to His embraces and let us be kissed by His Love. By looking at Mary we can learn to love His Heart, we can learn to love with all our heart and be kept as free prisoners of His Heart  and let Him come to inhabit our heart and make space for Him to transform us as true worshipers and lovers of His Heart. Mary is the loving child the father loves.

MARY WITHIN US ... AND WE WITHIN MARY
God loves that part of Mary that it's within us. In His infinite Goodness He has put in all of us women and men something of Mary. Her pureness, her virginity, her humbleness and her
divine maternity. It's Mary within us that leads us directly to the Father through the Heart of Jesus. It's Mary within us that acts together with the Holy Spirit and that makes us so loved and dear to God. It's Mary within us, the key, that opens the Sacred Heart of His Son, It's Mary within us that makes us His beloved children just like her.

THE KEY OF THE HEART

Blessed is the one who has and owns the key to His Heart. Blessed are you, oh Mary, Blessed are all the Saints and Blessed are we to whom has been given such a gift.
Let us invoke Mary as the "key" opening the Sacred Heart of Jesus, His Son, let her be the key that opens It to our hearts, to the whole world:
"Oh Blessed Virgin Mary,
as you are the key to your Son's Heart,
open this Sacred Heart for us, open It
to our hearts, so that we can feel it
burn of Divine Love, so that we
can feel His Love within us,
the same Love you felt when you
were with us, the same Love
you are feeling now that you
are so near to Him.
Please, open, oh Mary, to us,
the casket of His Divine Heart,
and let us dive into His Heart,
let us dive into this inexhaustible
source of Grace so that we can
taste this infinite sweetness.
Open, oh Mary, His
Heart to ours as that It
will change us in you..."
