thou art the purest altar,

all Creation exults in thee 

oh full of Grace,

mystic Paradise,

sealed Fountain,

the Lord springs up in thee

the tree of Life,

oh simple Sovereign,

oh powerful and humble,

open to us the doors of Heaven,

bring to us the Light."
